We were on air!
On Monday, 7th of April, we had the opportunity to participate in a live broadcast on Radio R.
Last week, the annual Researchers' Night took place across the Czech Republic, and once again came around to our LEMMA laboratory. Throughout the evening, the public - from the youngest to the oldest - had the opportunity to try the role of being a sound engineer or filmmaker.
With the help of our lab members, visitors had the opportunity to work with sound equipment, cameras, and camera stabilizer. In addition, they could look at the outputs of students of the PV110 course (Basics of Film Language) in the form of film concepts, literary and technical scripts. Displayed were also the works of the past festival organization students, such as festival brochures and flyers, as well as student films made by the LEMMA members themselves, many of which were also screened at the Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University.
These films (as part of the LEMMA laboratory's treasure) were screened in a separate room in three blocks, and visitors could stop by at any time during the event. A special block featured a selection of five films, accompanied by a commentary from the director and a short discussion about their filming.
The whole evening went about in a rather entertaining and educational spirit, and on behalf of the entire LEMMA laboratory, we hope that visitors to the Researchers' Night at FI MU enjoyed our stand and enriched their film skills at least a little.

Teambuilding is an essential part of the festival's organization to promote team spirit. This time, students and festival mentors were able to compare their strengths on the bowling lanes.
