Students will also learn skills such as video editing, engaging, operating a camera, scene lighting, scene sound, and postproduction. At the end of the semester students will know how to build their own film crew, how to manage each role and how to produce their own short film.
PV113 Production of Audiovisual Artefacts
spring
Course PV113 focuses on production of student's own short audiovisual film on the basis of a technical script, that was created either in the autumn course PV110 or was created by the student on their own. In this case, the technical script needs to get approved first. Another way of completing this course is participation on one of the creative positions in a film crew of another student.
Do you want to create your own short movie and see it on the big screen at the end of the semester at the Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics (FFFIMU)? The course PV113 can provide it all.
PV174 Laboratory of Electronic and Multimedia Applications
spring/autumn
In the autumn semester students work in two independent groups on various projects of the LEMMA laboratory.
First group focuses on mentoring students of PV110 and administration of the LEMMA lab. Each mentor has 2 to 4 students to guide, who they advise and help navigate writing of their own story concept, literary script and technical script, that they created in the PV110 course. The only requirement is successfully completing the PV110 course.
Second group handles organization of the Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics. This group is divided into smaller groups of students each focusing on one aspect of organization. These aspects are PR, visual identity, web, technology and video. The work of these students is publicly displayed on the Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics at the end of the spring semester.
This course is available to sign for also in the spring semester, when it only focuses on the organization of FFFIMU.
