LEMMA in autumn colours

With the start of the school year, we have revived our LEMMA laboratory, as well as our filmmaking and organizing spirit!

After the summer break, we are once again preparing for the 26th Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University, from A to Z. At the same time, PV110 students are working on the production of their films, which you may see on the screens of our festival. However, we still have plenty of time until May, and besides films, there are other exciting things happening.

You had a chance to meet us in person at the Club Fair, which took place on Monday, October 13, in the Atrium of the Faculty of Social Studies. The students had the opportunity to learn more about filmmaking and the festival directly from the pros – well-seasoned LEMMA members, some of whom have been part of the team for several semesters. LEMMA is as much a community as it is a lab.

We also hold in-house events to maintain a good atmosphere and improve our work. The most recent one was the LEMMA team building event, which took place in this semester because our team has expanded to include a number of new members. We met up around the pool tables, where we enjoyed an evening of pleasant atmosphere, bonding, and exciting games.

For those who did not meet us at the Club Fair: don't worry! You can also meet us at DOD FI - Open Day at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, which will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025. There you can learn more not only about bachelor's studies at the faculty itself, but also about our laboratory. We will be happy to give you a glimpse behind the scenes of filmmaking and show you everything that is possible in our lab.
