The richness of filmmaking - Researchers' Night with LEMMA
Last week, the annual Researchers' Night took place across the Czech Republic, and once again came around to our LEMMA laboratory.
The first week of November a former student of the LEMMA laboratory, Martin Kacvinský, attended a lecture on the Basics of Film Narratives at the Faculty of Informatics.
The holder of several awards for the best wedding cameraman in Europe came to share his advice and tips regarding filmmaking with students and film enthusiasts. Not only students of the subject of LEMMA's PV110 (Basics of Film Narratives), but also graduates and the general public could attend the lecture.
Martin Kacvinský already won the 9th Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics during his studies at the Faculty of Informatics. After graduating, he worked for a corporation for several years and is currently working besides wedding videos, for example, on a newly emerging series for HBO Max. In his lecture, he motivated students and beginning filmmakers not to be afraid to experiment in their work, to be challenged, and to follow their creative intuition.
